Black Crusade, or How FFG Hates My Budget

So Fantasy Flight Games has announced a new game called Black Crusade.  This RPG gives you a chance to play a Chaos Space Marine or Human in the service of the Chaos Gods.

Yeah, thanks FFG, just more stuff I can't afford but would be willing to sell unnecessary organs for cash so I could.

Dawn of War II: Retribution Beta Ends Tonight

If you're like me and you've been enjoying the DoW II Retribution Beta to get a head start on your friends, the Beta ends tonight.

I believe the Collector's Edition starts to ship tomorrow for the release of March 1.  If you haven't purchased your copy yet, I highly recommend going the CE route.  For $10 more you get access to all races and campaigns, rather than buying whichever race/campaign and then adding them piece meal.

Me, I'll be getting my copy of Retribution that I won (Thank Gork & Mork!) sometime shortly after the March 1 release.  So I won't have my review right away, but I will have it shortly after I get it...

Dawn of War II: Retribution Beta Is Open

If you own either DoW II or Chaos Rising you can now play the Retribution Demo.  It is just multiplayer, with no campaign or Last Stand (which is to be expected), but holy #$%*(#$!@!!!!!!

I just played one game against the Easy Computer to see how the Imperial Guard fared in DoW II, and I like them a whole heck of a lot more in DoW II than I did in DoW.  I'll have more thoughts later, but I need to go play some more.

The Prodigal Blogger Returns Home

Okay, it's been quite a while since I've done anything with the blog, and while I've had a bit of a malaise when it comes to blogging, I've not been ignoring the hobby.

First off, yes there have been few updates, and yes I've let time and this blog get away from me.  But I'm making a concerted effort to get out of this funk I've been in and that includes updating the blog.
