40K Neotube - 2/3/10

This week's 40K Neotube finds me only 2 weeks in and already breaking all my personal rules about this series.  The concept when I first decided to do this series was highlight a video a week, because there are some pretty neat 40K centric videos out there.  While searching for this week's video I stumbled on a great video reference series about the basic rules of 40K.   As a newer player I know that a lot of time during a game is spent looking up rules.  That's where doremicom has made a wonderful tutorial series on the rules of 5th edition 40k.  Hopefully reinforcing what we have read so we can move past rules discovery and on to fun.  There are 3 series, and I'm just highlighting Series 1 which is seven episodes long, as well as two correction episodes.  And he doesn't even get into the Assault phase or things like wound allocation.  Not the video series for recruiting new players, but once they're hooked this is a good place to start to really help them understand the nuts and bolts of the game.
